Great music, excellent voice acting with Jan Rabson reprising his roll as our loveable loser, excellent art style, very respectful of Larry's liniage...the list goes on. I'm 40 years old and grew up with Larry so I was as skeptical as anyone when I learned about 'Wet dreams don't dry' (I still don't know about that title though), especially hearing that Al Lowe wasn't involved. But seriously, give the game a chance. Yes Larry looks different but honestly with Jan voicing Larry so well you'll fall in love with this new look quicker than you might expect. if you enjoyed classic Larry at all in the past, give this one a shot. A fresh, smart new take on ol' Larry Laffer which I never thought I'd see (or would work) in today's social climate. The only thing I don't get is why Al Lowe wasn't atleast onboard as consultant? Regardless, a wonderful surpise and a fantastic job by all involved. I hope the game sells well enough to warrant another!. After the last few abysmal Larry Games I thought Larry Laffer is dead. And is dead for good. I loved the old games, but accepted that they are from a past era, and there won't be any more. And it was good.Then I saw the teasers for this one, and it looked promising, so added to my wishlisht and hoped for the best.And then I saw ther reviews so I knew I have to buy this immediately. And I did so, and I'm in love.Larry is perverted, dumb, and funny. As Larry should be. The other characters are great, the game is oldschool enough to be difficult, yet streamlined enough to be playable today.Also the fanservice is on a great level, but it's there without being intrusive, or they don't want to sell the game on that.. Game breaking bugs. If you skip conversations you get stuck and have to restart completely or from a save game.- Rather dull and unfunny conversations..- Choices do not matter at all- Can't skip cutscenes. While not the best game in the series, it's the best game in the series in a long time, and I found it ejyoable.Really was a true nod to the classics as far as gameplay and looks.. But poor old Larry, he didn't seem to get into enough "misadventures." Still, it got some laughs out of me.The space bar key to show me what I could click not only seemed a bit cheatey, but proved too useful to ignore.. No useless points to gather. Game seems a bit linear. But for all that, you're still going to find the classic Sierra style puzzle combinations for items. "aRe you.. what, really That's what I needed?"I loved the basic plot starting out. Good ol Larry, right back in the game from the sewer factory he was origionally built from. Only now instead of 1986, its 2016'ish. Say hi to Lefty for me.. if you like Larry 1-7 you will enjoy this. Finally a great Larry Adventure. It's funny and it's hot... You know what i mean ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). Hoply crap this is hard without a walkthrough. Being a person that always heard about Leisure Suit Larry, the game history, and watching a few letsplayes i cant say i came in completely blind. But over all if you are looking for an interesting point and click adventure game with all the fixings of comedy, absurdity, and headscratching solutions that point and click games are known for: then your in the right place.
